Don Anderson founded Insight Photos in 2007 after a 35-year career as a real estate agent and broker in Seattle, Washington. After selling his brokerage, he relocated to San Diego and built Insight Photos to provide the kind of listing media he wished he'd had as an agent — fast turnaround, consistent quality, and a photographer who understands what sells a home.
That real estate background shapes every shoot. Don and his team know which features buyers look for, how to compose shots that highlight a home's selling points, and how to deliver media that helps agents get listings sold faster. Since 2007, the team has photographed over 20,000 properties and delivered more than 500,000 photos and videos across San Diego County.

What We Offer
Insight Photos provides a full suite of real estate marketing media, all available seven days a week with next-day delivery. Our services include professional property photography, aerial drone photos and video captured by FAA-certified pilots, Matterport 3D tours, video walkthroughs, twilight photography, virtual staging, and Zillow 3D Tour packages.

Having photographers spread across the region means we can schedule shoots quickly — often with just 1–2 days' notice — and accommodate morning, afternoon, twilight, and weekend appointments.

All photos and videos are edited in-house by our dedicated processing team — located entirely in the United States. We never outsource overseas. Our editors use proprietary techniques including blue sky replacement, color correction, lens distortion correction, and cosmetic enhancements to ensure consistent, polished quality across every single shoot. Every image you receive has been reviewed and refined by a human editor.
